They are thermal base layers to keep you warm.
They are not a thick fleece that you might imagine in normal clothes as this wood make you sweat but the fabric is cleverly designed and although not massively visible it is there to keep you warm when cold but breathable when you get too hot. Do not expect super fluffy fleece lining, but it works.
